"They built the drive-in movie theater in the field behind those houses, then they laid the roads, then a development.  We lived in the sticks. There were dirt roads. Grandma and Grandpa Reyes paid to have the roads paved to our house. They also had sidewalks installed. They named the streets Sun St. and Moon St.  Must have been because there is a sun and a moon on the Filipino flag." 


I believe they named the streets Sun + Moon beacuse of the link to agriculture.
